At Timberstone Vet, we are with you on every step of your pet’s journey through life. From puppy and kitten-hood to their golden years, we will provide compassionate care to keep them healthy and happy. We’re pleased to offer the following services at our veterinary hospital in Sylvania, Ohio. Please contact us with any questions. 

Preventive Care
Regular visits to the veterinarian can extend the life of your pet! We highly recommend coming in for annual check-ups as well as ensuring your pet is up-to-date on all recommended vaccines. Establishing a relationship with your veterinarian when your pet is young is ideal as we will have a better opportunity to notice subtle changes in their health over time. We look forward to seeing you and your pet soon.
Overnight Monitoring
When your pet is at Timberstone Vet, you can rest assured they will get the best care possible. They will be constantly cleaned up after, monitored, fed, snuggled, walked, and played with. Our team will treat your pets as if they were our own. A doctor is on call as long as there is staff in the hospital, so you can rest easy that the best medical care will be given. A veterinary hospital is a safe, comfortable place for your pets to be overnight.
Diagnostics
It is difficult to see your pet in pain or suffering and not know what’s wrong. Our team provides state-of-the-art in-house diagnostics to help us learn what’s wrong and provide an accurate diagnosis. A quicker diagnosis leads to quicker treatment!
In-House Laboratory
Having our own lab onsite allows us to make quicker diagnoses and get your pet feeling better, faster. Providing accurate and timely lab results is a huge benefit for your pet thanks to our extensive in-house laboratory capabilities. We’re able to provide test results quickly and as accurately as possible.
Ultrasound
Ultrasonography is a type of diagnostic technique that uses ultrasound waves to produce an imaging study. This means that when we perform ultrasonography, we can see internal images of the patient’s body. Ultrasonography is a completely non-invasive, painless way to diagnose and evaluate many common diseases. Ultrasounds also allow us to look at the architecture of internal organs and examine location, size, shape, texture and blood supply.
Dentistry
According to the American Veterinary Dental Society, 70% of adult cats and 80% of adult dogs show symptoms of oral disease? Don’t let your pets become part of this statistic!

Just as it’s important for you to see a dentist regularly, it’s important for dogs and cats as well. Your pet’s oral health is directly connected to their overall health. Signs of dental disease include bad breath, loose, broken or missing teeth, yellow or brown teeth, red, inflamed or bleeding gums, difficulty or pain when chewing, pawing at the mouth, and excessive drooling. If you notice any of these symptoms, please contact our team and we’ll be happy to help.

Feline Boarding

At Timberstone Vet, we are proud to offer excellent feline boarding services to those in the Sylvania area. We understand that regardless of how much you love your cat, there will come a time when you’ll have to be apart, whether it’s due to a business trip, family vacation, or emergency. Timberstone will be there for your pet when you cannot be.

Canine Boarding

At Timberstone Vet, we are proud to offer excellent canine boarding services to those in the Sylvania area. We understand that regardless of how much you love your dog, there will come a time when you’ll have to be apart, whether it’s due to a business trip, family vacation, or emergency. Timberstone will be there for your pet when you cannot be.
