Dr. Jennifer Tate

Veterinarian

Dr. Jennifer Tate is a 1995 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Dr. Jen has been practicing small animal medicine in the Sylvania area for the past 23 years. Dr. Jen is married and their family includes three dogs and a cat.

Dr. Nicole Belcher

Veterinarian

Dr. Nicole (Dively) Belcher graduated from the University of Findlay with an honors degree in animal science and then went on to graduate from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Since graduation, Dr. Nicole has been practicing small animal medicine in the Sylvania area. She and her husband Andrew live with two dogs, a cat, and a guinea pig named Rosie.

Dr. Shannon (Longenecker) Westphal

Veterinarian

Shannon (Longenecker) Westphal is a Toledo native. She attended the University of Toledo for undergraduate studies and graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Go Rockets and Go Bucks! She lived and practiced small animal medicine in North Carolina the last 5 years but recently returned to the Toledo area with her husband (Nathan), son (Oliver) and cat (Ann Purrkins).

Stefanie

Practice Manager

Stefanie currently lives in Temperance, MI with her husband Levi and their two daughters, Zoe and Paige. Stefanie has been in the Veterinary field for 13 years and involved in animal rescue for 15 years. Although they currently do not have any dogs of their own, they get their puppy fix from their K9 nephews, Bubba and Dexter. Stefanie has a soft spot for Great Danes and will hopefully be adding one to the TimberstoneVet family soon!

Michaela

Front Desk Employee

Michaela is a front desk employee with the TimberstoneVet family. She has been in the veterinary field for 4 years. She was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and currently lives at home with her fiance, Matt, 2 dogs (Mandalay & Eddie) & 1 cat (Popeye). In her free time, she loves going to the gym on a regular basis. She also loves the Toledo Walleye and Detroit Red Wings. Michaela describes Timberstone Vet as welcoming, client-focused & caring.

Amber

Registered Veterinary Technician

Amber is a registered veterinary technician with the TimberstoneVet family. She has been in the veterinary field for nine and a half years. She is originally from Fenton, Michigan but currently resides in Defiance, Ohio. Her family members include her husband of five and a half years, Devin, & son, Adrian. Her fur babies include four dogs (Fronz, Nadira, Josie Belle Pickles & Fronz) & two cats (Slim Shady & Emmi). In her free time, Amber loves to do wine tours. Amber describes TimberstoneVet as calm, a dedicated staff, & a family.

Caitlin

Registered Veterinary Technician

Caitlin is a registered veterinary technician with the TimberstoneVet family. She has been in the veterinary field for about six and a half years. She is originally from Ottawa Lake, Michigan but currently resides in Toledo, Ohio. Her home life includes her husband of eleven years (married for one year), Will, two dogs (Jesse & Huxley), and two cats (Baby & Wally). In her free time, she loves to do puzzles, play volleyball, and binge-watch Netflix/Disney+ shows/movies. Caitlin describes TimberstoneVet as a family, true love for the animals & their owners, & a compassionate/caring facility.

Laura

Registered Veterinary Technician

Laura is a registered veterinary technician with the TimberstoneVet family. She has been in the veterinary field since 1991 and has been a registered veterinary technician since 2001. She was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio & currently resides there with her husband of 4.5 years, Tom & her children & stepchildren Adriana, Dylan, Jared & Maddie. At home, she has many fur babies including 2 dogs (Sparkle & Arlo) & 3 kitties (Skittles, Lucy Lou & Princess). In her free time, she enjoys reading while cuddling with her kitties, puzzles, crocheting & spending time near bodies of water. Laura describes Timberstone Vet as personalized care, a calming environment & a family.

Rachel

Veterinary Assistant

Rachel is a veterinary assistant with the TimberstoneVet family. She has been in the veterinary field for 4.5 years. She is originally from and still resides in Toledo, Ohio. She is from a family of 5 but has an extended family of over 30 cousins! At home, she has 2 fur children, Rosie & Franklin (dogs) but has fostered & found homes for multiple dogs along the way. In her free time, Rachel loves to do puzzles. Rachel describes Timberstone Vet as a welcoming, clean & quiet/calming environment.

Shelby

Veterinary Assistant

Shelby is a veterinary assistant with the TimberstoneVet family. She has been in the veterinary field for approximately 5.5 years. She is originally from Castalia, Ohio but currently resides in Toledo, Ohio with her husband, Robbie, dog, Chino, & 2 cats (Luna & Aurora aka Bitty). In her free time, she enjoys reading, water coloring painting, cross-stitching & she spends a lot of time gaming as well! Shelby describes Timberstone Vet as homey, courteous & joyful.

Taylor

Registered Veterinary Technician

Taylor is a registered veterinary technician with the TimberstoneVet family. She has been in the veterinary field for approximately 6.5 years. She is originally from Dallas, Texas but currently resides in Rockwood, Michigan with her fiancé, Ryan. Together they have 3 fur/feather babies at home including Sydney (Aussie), Kimba (domestic medium hair feline) & Rico (Pineapple Conure). In her free time, she enjoys reading non-fiction books! Taylor describes Timberstone Vet as a commitment to excellence, positive values & a warm/welcoming environment.
